I’ve always had an affinity for concrete end tables – not sure why but perhaps it’s the fact that concrete ages extremely well. In fact, an assortment of round concrete tables/seats put together in a large space can create a stylish minimalistic look that is genuine and not over the top pretentious

I’d like to introduce you to Brad and Pamela Wilson of Holmes Wilson Tables – two very talented people who personally hand craft concrete tables with a skill for concrete ageing. Many of their pieces appear aged intentionally with crackles and hairlines all part of the package. In attempting to create the aged look, the Wilsons ensure that structural integrity of the concrete is not compromised, hence here lies the mastery in their craft.

The one product that has caught my eye is the Pliny end table, of which leaf impressions are left on them to add a design element. The tables come in various sizes and you can request for different leaf impressions such as eucalyptus, sage, artichoke and banana. And if they don’t have the leaf you want, simply provide them with it and they can customize it specially for you!

View all of their offerings on the Holmes Wilson Tables site – they have pretty impressive consoles, block tables and coffee tables too
