Today at One Kings Lane there is a great deal on the Core Root Crafts items.

I love all of these trays and servers, urns and interesting pieces and they are a really good price starting at $19.  They remind me of these wood bowls from Target but they are a little less expensive PLUS, the beauty of OKL is referrals.  Refer one friend who buys and you can get a Core Root serving piece for free although it may take up to 24 hours to see your credit, mine usually show up within minutes.

I love this wood urn.

If you hurry there are some other deals today too.  I just ordered two of these shams for $15 each.  They are in the Lunares section at the top being featured today.

If you have yet to sign up for OKL and are wondering exactly what it is, I wrote an extensive post about how it works and how I use OKL here. Id

When I first laid my eyes on this not so conventional looking iPad case, I thought probably half of pillow is attached to its back. I was partly right. Hailed as the iPad Lounge Case, the back of this case if filled up with beads like those found in bean bags and the exterior is made up of sweat-shirt type material. Its looks like as if not you but your gadget is lounging here.

Owing to the soft bean-bag like form of this case, you can either kepe it on your bed on your lap, and use the tablet for hours with comfort. Its form is such that it can fit into any space.

While the Enki Watering System looks like a run of the mill watering can, its actually a revolutionary new way to water your plants. How so you ask? By taking regular tap water and superoxygenating it. Theres nothing wrong with using water straight from the tap to water your plants, but if youre looking for above average plant growth, supported by the results of a study conducted at the University of Minnesota Horticultural Department, you might be interested in the Enki Watering System.

The Enki Watering System works by using a built-in patented technology that increases oxygen levels in tap water by a factor of 1.5. As a reference point, tap water averages 30 to 40% oxygen saturation. Rainwater, which contains oxygen levels that are even greater than tap water, averaged a 50 percent increase in oxygen levels using the Enki Watering System.

The Enki Watering System has been around since 2008 when it was named one of the best new gardening tools of the year and makes a great gift for your favorite gardener (you!). Use it to water houseplants, annual beds, and container-grown fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Simply plug in the pitcher and let it bubble away for at least 4 to 5 minutes and up to 30 minutes. The additional oxygen in the soil stimulates plant roots to increase growth and yield.

It is not often that you see a proposal for a substantial indoor garden, still less one located on an ice tundra, however this is what Leeser Architecture, (who also imagined the engaging Helix Hotel in Abu Dhabi) have proposed in their design for the World Mammoth and Permafrost Museum in Yakutsk Siberia. Yakutsk is the world’s largest city built on permafrost with temperatures ranging from -45degF to 90degF.

The extensive and intensive indoor gardens have been designed to “promote a sense of year-round natural life even in the desolate winter months.”

Not much is said of the about the construction of the landscape elements and gardens. This
